Welcome to Burton 2000. This site was setup on 15th November 1999 for the sole purpose of letting the world know what a beautiful town we live in. Burton upon Trent has a colorful past and history, and is probably best known in the world as a Brewery town. The town has changed dramatically over the last 10 years let alone the last 100. I will bring together old archive pictures of the thriving market town during Victorian times and the present times around Burton. Including historical accounts of the Burton Monks, the River Trent, the Washlands and more. My Picture gallery contains many pictures of
The Ferry Bridge, Burton on Trent Town, The Queens Visit, Brewery's, Greensmiths Flour Mills, Burton Albion, Floods of Burton, The Burton Abbey and Much more.
I would love your comments on it or anything to do with Burton.
I hope you enjoy your stay, and please sign the Guest book Arthur.
