This site was setup on 15th November 1999 for the sole purpose of letting the world know about Burton upon Trent, It has a colourful past and history, and is probably best known worldwide as the home of Bass, Marstons, and Ind Coop & Allsopps Brewery's. This site contains archive pictures of the thriving market town during Victorian times and the present times around Burton. Including historical accounts of the Burton Monks, the River Trent, the Washlands.
